Something eating my potato tops.

I didn't note that as a problem last year but something is having a much especially at one end of the row. I had a look at one of the plants and thee is a bit of a silvery trail which would indicate slugs?
I didn't think they ate potato tops.
I've put some pellets down so I will see tomorrow if that stops them in their silvery tracks

Slugs and snails will eat anything green, even rhubarb leaves.

Yes I think it must be slugs, they have had a go at everything else, even demolished my onion seedlings I think they too out one planted form a set too.

What I really need is a colony of hedgehogs, but I have no hedge lol.

What you need are ground beetles, lots of them. They eat slug eggs. Leave piles of old wood around the plot to provide a habitat for them
