  • Indoor Cucumbers

I wa reading my Hessayon book (essential bedtime reading, of course) and it said that you shouldn't plant cucumbers straight into greenhouse borders and that they should always go in a growbag.

Is this right? I was just going to plant them into the soil in my g/house, but am worried that they won't do very well.

Anyone planted into border soil with no problems before?

    Thanks

Yep, couple of times, planted straight into g/h border along with toms & aubs, no problemo! Well actually the only slight problem was the HUGE quantites of cukes that grew and the plant escaping from the g/h.

Always plant mine in pots but my brother has his in the beds and always does fine - in fact more than fine last year as he had a mega glut.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
