  • Corguette leaves have gone yellow please help??!!

Hi everyone I am a beginner gardener growing veg in pots, bags and various other containers on a rooftop garden area and was lucky enough to gain some partial grow plants from family friends while growing others from seeds so that my three year old can see something growing.

The plant that concerns me is the Corguette plant which although it has grown in size it has gone very yellow??? See photo attached

I also had Pumpkin and Zuchinni plants from the same person and though not as bad they appear to be doing the same??

Any advice welcome, I have repotted into larger pots since having but only I last 48hrs after the yellowing

    Thanks

I don't think it is anything too serious. Could be the older leaves naturally dying off. Did the yellowing occur before or after you repotted them? If it was before it could be that they were a bit hungry and now they are in fresh compost should be ok. Or it could be scorch from the sun. Was it hardened off before you put it out or did it go straight from indoors to outdoors. The new leaves coming through look ok.

Has your grow bag got adequate drainage? I ask because your compost looks very wet.

Yellowing occurred before repotting and not been repotted long enough yet to see if this helps, plants were passed on via my mum so not sure if they were greenhouse or garden plants prior to me having them and weather wise its been up and down in the south east going from hot and sunny to cloudy and rainy. Thanks for all the advice and ideas to keep an eye on will give them a few days in new compost and see if any improvement
        Thanks again

The picture posted was just after I had repotted into fresh compost and watered so could be why it looks wet, but will keep an eye on drainage as repotted from pots to new style bags which are new to me so being on hard surface need to check pots and bags draining properly.
          Thanks for advice

Are you feeding them and if so, what?

Lots of my French beans & squashes have gone yellow this year. It's too damn cold for them
