Hadn't thought of feeding garlic at this stage, or of using comfrey for it - thx! My garlic is still quite small for the time of year, so I'm going to try and practice a concept that's fairly new to me and I'm still struggling with - I think someone told me it was called Patience...sigpicGardening in France rocks!

I think my garlic will be ready soon. The tips of the leaves have just started to turn yellow. It is autumn planted soft neck so fingers crossed it will be ready soon.Likac66

Pulled one of my October sown ones today for a look and to use as we used the last of last year's earlier in the week...
Was so so size but still hasn't split.....
Could be another month for mine...I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
...utterly nutterly

Mine seems to be going over pretty quickly now... looked a lot more yellow yesterday than last weekend.
Might be soon!
Hmmm... looks more yellow in the flesh than in the pics!
