Funny that coz I to feed liquid seaweed. I buy the dried stuff and stick it in empty milk containers and mix with water. Soak for a few days then feed it.

Hadn't thought of feeding garlic at this stage, or of using comfrey for it - thx! My garlic is still quite small for the time of year, so I'm going to try and practice a concept that's fairly new to me and I'm still struggling with - I think someone told me it was called Patience...

I think my garlic will be ready soon. The tips of the leaves have just started to turn yellow. It is autumn planted soft neck so fingers crossed it will be ready soon.

where we are i think that the garlic will be left til late aug/sept to give it a chance to catch up after the slightly below par spring we had this year..

Pulled one of my October sown ones today for a look and to use as we used the last of last year's earlier in the week...
Was so so size but still hasn't split.....
Could be another month for mine...

                              ...utterly nutterly

Mine seems to be going over pretty quickly now... looked a lot more yellow yesterday than last weekend.

                                Might be soon!

Hmmm... looks more yellow in the flesh than in the pics!
