tomato plant problems!

What/where are they planted in? Borders/pots/grow-bags? What brand of compost are the seedlings in? Is it the same brand as the big plants?

Having seen the effect of a certain type of compost on some tomato plants last year, compared with plants from the same batch in different compost, I wouldn't rule out the compost itself being a problem.

Sorry for the terribly late response, they are all in miracle grow grow bags...seedlings all brought on in cutting/seeding compost think it was b & q had no problems until they went I'm bags

I have peppers and aubergines in the same bags and they are doing great.

Toms start with leaves turning lighter green over the entire plant then small patches appear on leaves almost transparent and then it turns papery and dies off, about half of the plants affected
