  • Flowering horseradish

I have horseradish in a potato barrel, put it in last year as it said to give it 2 years before cropping. Last year it did a great weed impression, just leaves. Just been up inspecting the estate and noticed that it's flowering. Now I'm no expert at this but generally any root type crop flowering is a bad sign, woody roots, etc. Does that go for horseradish? I searched horseradish but couldn't see any mention of flowering. It is quite a pretty dainty white flower though.....

Just cut the pretty flowers off, otherwise you'll have horseradish growing all over the place.

Not yet for me, fairly new plantings.
