Keeping dem crops coming...

Morning all, I've just been smugly surveying my plot which is bursting at the seams at the moment.
I'm having a think about what I need to be getting started now in modules to replace things as they're harvested.
I've got stuff on the go for much later on like Brussels, PSB, winter cabbages, leeks etc but I think in the mean time I'll get going with some more spinach, rocket, beetroot, French beans, lettuce, fennel.....!! (I sooo need a bigger plot!)
What's everyone else been doing to fill in the gaps?

Cavolo Nero is a really nice vegetable. Its a kale, but much sweeter. Should be time left to sow.

Must be nice to have things 'bursting at the seams'! Sadly none of my initial sowings really took so Ive had to sow everything again and hope for better luck this time round! (so more carrots, spinach, beetroot, radishes,etc). Then Ive shoehorned module sown lettuce and beetroot where ever I had a gap!
Got some PSB, kale and ruby chard seedlings too for growing in pots (due to my teeny weeny garden not having enuf room).

I haven't got enough room for all my brassicas at the moment so I'm growing some on in pots and hope to plant them out once I harvest some early potatoes.

Kentishgal, I'm just showing off! It's only bursting cause it's such a small plot! Bad luck with your initial sowings - what a pain, still there's still plenty of time to get things going.

Likac66 Some of my winter brassicas are still in pots too, I'll be putting them in once my broadies are done.

Thanks Jono I'll give Cavolo nero a try, it's something I've not grown before. I'm also trying tender stem broccoli for the first time this year, it's supposed to have a good long cropping period so we'll see....

I really want to try to make the most of my plot and keep the crops coming by sowing little and often rather than having big gluts then periods with nothing.
Some time ago someone wrote a really good post about successional sowing- it may have been Snadger- will have to hunt it out....
