Record what we harvest

I decided to record what I harvest from my allotment. I was wondering if there is any online form to download or if anyone has suggestions of how to keep a record of everything. Cheers!

I just write it all down in a little black book. Been doing it for years just to prove to myself that growing my own makes economic as well as environmental sense.

I use an excel spreadsheet to keep a record of what I spend on the plot (compost, seeds, rent, new boots, etc.) versus what I harvest, and use it to calculate the "what I might have spent in T***o" value for the crops. For the last 2 years I have been more than £200 in profit, though to be fair, I would never have bought £20 worth of rhubarb, nor £50 of runner beans! Sounds a bit geeky, but is nice to show the OH that my trips down the plot are worth it!

I don't record what I harvest, but do record the type of harvest... usually on Excel when I remember to..
Would imagine if you are recording quantity, approx prices etc etc then Excel or the free Google equivalent is the answer..

Mine's easy 5 pea pods and 12 radishes! - This is only so far though, hopefully by Friday I will be adding 4 strawberries to my harvest

When I had an allotment, I kept a little account book - outgoings (rent, seeds, compost etc) and income (weight of item valued at shop prices). You soon show a profit when you grow soft fruit!
I also recorded how I used the crop (eaten fresh, jam, frozen....with recipes or references to the books they came from).
It was in my pre-computer days but even now, I would prefer to write it all in a book than use a spreadsheet

I record every year my costs, then I go on the supermarket website we shop at to collect all the prices of what we grow. I then tally up the weight of each crop throughout the year, to work out how much I saved. My seed potatoes cost £16 this year, and I have already harvested 4kg, so that's £15.50 in the supermarket so I should save a fair bit this year on them!

I want to keep a record of how much plants produce, how taste, money I spent in products, etc. to see whats worth growing because of quantity and flavour.

I started with a wee cress pot, but things got out to control! :-) First vegs, then fruit, next mushrooms! It's an addiction! :-)
