  • To late for onion sets

    The local cheap shop is selling onion set packs for 20p about 20-30 inside the pack they say to plant between march and may if I gamble with my 20p what are the odds of getting a Crop?

    Forgot to mention there sturgeon variety

    Too late Darcy, that's why they're 20p. Suppose you could plant them and use them as spring onions but they certainly won't make bulbs.

    BTW - did you mean Sturon?

      Yes meant sturon I'm on my phone dam predictive text grrrrrr I might just bung them in then at 20p they will still be cheaper than shop bought spring onions

        ............I've got half a pound of Centurion left also. May as well go in as a row of spring onions!
