Yesterday i went to visit a chap who was advertising 2 year old victoria rhubarb plants grown from seed. When i got there i was amazed by how much they had growing in a 'normal back garden'. This was obviously a hobby and the chap was just selling off his surplus but the selection and quaility was far better than my local garden centres.
I came away grinning with my Victoria Rhubarb, a red gooseberry, a pot of runner beans, a tray of chard, 2 melon plants, 2 butternut squash, a tigerella tomato and a BLACK tomato plant! (Black Prince).
I also fell on my feet with a brand new large walk in blow away greenhouse my mum brought it last year in the sale but hadnt used it. Cant wait to get it up and get all my new additions in
