Just dug up some volunteer new potatoes left over from last years planting which have given me a bit of a bonus crop, particularly as this years new pots aren't quite ready yet. Apart from that I have been harvesting radishes for a while and have eaten three strawberries.

First mange tout, and pak chow, and another large punnet of strawberries, a couple of red onions, and also ate some raspberries, just to check they are coming along ok!

        Garlic - does that count?
I dug the lot yesterday but we had a sneaky head earlier in the week, half roasted and the other half thinly sliced, confited in butter and then stirred through couscous with mint and broadies. Very indulgent as all the butter went in as well

Basil. The slugs just don't know how to harvest a plant to make it last.

First strawberries from the allotment last night - 5 of them. Neighbouring plot holder then came over and gave me a massive punnet as they have too many!
