Picked our first little courgettes. I'm growing them in the potting shed because they simply can't stand up to the windy weather up here (even with wind breaks round them).
Four ripe Bell / Sweet peppers. A handful of radishes. Herbs. Golden Sunrise tomatoes on the brink of being ripe. LOADS of chillies with not far to go: this hot spell over the next few days should bring them along nicely. And my cuumber plant, though some way off to setting fruit, is loving the heat and romping away.
My first round Di Nizza courgette I usually grow the long ones but saw these seeds for 29p in Lidl so had to buy them.
Snap Bren, picked my 1st one yesterday...........

I admit these are not exactly my first strawberries - must have picked at least 10 But Today, look what I've found lurking in the long grass - 522g of utter bliss
Handfull of strawberries, mini cucumbers, mangetout - "Charlotte" potatoes now flowering so will need to have a root around in the bag to see if they are ready, and just waiting for blueberries to ripen!
