    I planted my earlies in end feb beginning march indoors ..... I moved them outside mid may... the leaves have gone totally yellow on 2 of them so I had a little rummage but cannot feel anything.... I found a few pea size ones .... do I need to leave them longer ?

    The basic answer is yes and to make the pea size one swell you need to give them a good old drink

      I think we can presume they are in containers in compost. You would need to start feeding them about week 6 and keep well watered as the tubers form.

        If the foliage has died, leaving them won't help, they aren't going to grow any more.

        Container spuds don't yield as well as those in the ground, and you have to feed & water them a lot when the tubers are forming.
