Holiday watering!

Rob rig up a self-watering system using capillary matting a bit like this I use in my GH.

That is an interesting idea never seen one of those before, do they work well?

Is there a limit to how long it will work for? Or is it until the water runs out?

Esbo I got the idea from this site :-

then made a DIY version it works well and I only top the water up every couple of weeks.
