Egyptian Walking Onions

    We refer to them as Chernobyl Onions

    They are really strong tasting. A real tears to the eye onion.

    The little onions at the top are about the size of a "chip shop pickled onion", but I tend to use one of these in place of "1 medium sized onion" in a recipe.

    Total bargain too, as just 50p for the ones I have

        After all that....

        Was sat in the garden this morning having my breakfast and thump, thump, two of the onion heads dropped off the stems onto the lawn.

        Currently deciding whether to plant em, or eat em

          Eat em!!! They make my eyes and nose leak.
          When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
          If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
