Cursed - Sweetcorn Fail

Mine are about 18" tall and doing ok. You can see the tassels starting to come out but they're putting on growth all the time.

It was the same last year and I was worried about their height but they made it up to about 4ft by the time they were harvested. Plus, looking around the site people have varying heights and stages of development so I'm not that worried this year.

I've just rummaged around in the undergrowth and not a sign of any ladyparts ....
Lots of courgettes and squash though ....

My sweetcorn is 3ft high and growing very, very quickly!!!!

Mine are titchy - ankle high if that. Very thick leaves though, one has something growing in the middle of it!

@RustyLady - just thought I'd update - you were right. I was expecting them to go more yellow, but picking some random ones, although they were a bit white, they went more yellow once peeled and even more yellow (like totally yellow!) once boiled.

They were delish, ta :-) Only 100 more left to eat, then!

I just went looking for ladyparts again .... there is a slight swelling ....
