      Hello mrow and welcome
Do you live in the UK or are you looking for original plants from elsewhere in the world?

So, you want to be searching for "heritage" and/or "heirloom" varieties, and avoiding "F1" and "hybrid"

There are loads, and most of the big seed companies, and garden centres, do heritage varieties

This might be of interest: Heritage Fruits & Vegetables: Amazon.co.uk: Toby Musgrave, Clay Perry: Books

Its a lovely book, and will hopefully give you some varieties to google. Tracking varieties down is a lot of fun. Like grown up sticker collecting.

The UK is a big place with varying growing conditions. If you can add what part of the UK you garden in it would be helpful?
North East England and Scotland have very different growing conditions to 'darn sowf '

Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, but heritage veg that has been grown over the last 100 years, has actually been evolving along with the years; it modifies itself and people generally save for the properties that they covet; namely taste, lack of bolting, size etc etc...
