Problem Strawberries

Dave have the plants ever sent off runners? The size of the fruit makes me think they are alphines.

I have a couple of pink flowering varieties, one alpine and two normal strawbs. Have the name in the garden if anyone is interested.

No runners from them. These are just bigger plants from last year.

I think I will give up on them and get new ones for next year then try again.

No need to give up on them, you can just split the plants and give them more room to grow this time.

A couple of years ago Morrisons and Aldi were selling "ever bearers" with pink flowers just like these. They produce very small fruit - tiny in fact
