  • Onions gone to seed

Can anyone help me and tell me why my over wintered onion have all suddenly got flower heads on them, and what should I do now? I snapped the flower heads off but the onions still seem a little small to be pulling them up!

    Thanks, any advise much appreciated

There are a few threads on this as it is a common problem-especially if you didn't water during the dry spell. Rustylady summed it up well here:

You need to use them before they go to flower/seed, Cherie
