tried crossing a venus fly trap with a kilaxy cabbage,grew fine and bug free but when I tried to harvest it it bit the end off the spade

Haha - Little Shop of Horrors, I do believe!? When visiting an open garden a few weeks back we saw some huge Poppy buds, just about to open, and I commented that one of them reminded me of the film. The friend I was with, hadn't seen it....
