Last year I overwintered some chilli plants that I grew in my greenhouse border and they're doing really well this year.
I sowed some Cayenne seeds much earlier this year and I hoped to overwinter the cayenne plant but it's not doing too well. I had a problem with aphids earlier in the year and now the leaves on the plant are curling a lot. I've found a few aphids since but they seem to be under control now and I don't think I'm under or over watering (the rest of the plants are fine) so I'm wondering if it got a virus from the aphids.
I'd rather overwinter a healthier plant and I'm wondering if it's viable to sow some more cayenne seeds now specifically with the purpose of overwintering the plant (not expecting any fruit from it this year as it's so late in the season).
