don't worry about it, sometimes it happens. I now have two very small courgette plants that haven't been complately eaten, one has no females flowers, one has no male flowers, one has a 3 inch courgette, the other has nothing and it's almost too late now for expecting anything at all.
    Them's the breaks.....

I mean this post is in the "Kitchen Garden" section. There is no longer a kitchen garden section-it's now vegging out and this post does not show in that section. It's very confusing here finding posts.

If you are looking for your own posts Marb, then just click on your user name. That will take you to your profile and you can then choose either view latest posts or view started threads.

Dumb question but are you pollinating the female flower from the male one?

This thread is in the Kitchen Garden Expert section because that's where you put it. We haven't moved it here.

Marb's got a point the 'Grapevine Experts' section of the forum is not showing up on the main 'forum' page.

Although the 'Kitchen Garden Expert' sub forum still exists (obvs. - as we're here!) as well as the 'Soil Expert' one.

I think VC mentioned this a week or two back? I didn't notice as I go directly to 'show new posts' rather than through the Forum main page.

Well you obviously did find it because you have added several posts to it.

Me too - hence not noticing either. That and having a life of course

I've asked the admin team to explain and also moved everything that had been commented on in July and August to Vegging out so may have to move some to another board once we get a chance.

Well yes, because I did a search for my own name to get the post. Hardly an eficiant way of finding
                        posts.

The most efficient way of finding your own posts is to go to "My Profile" and look at your Latest Posts and Latest Started Threads. There are so many threads on here, many with misleading titles, that using the Search facility can be a bit cumbersome.

                            It's hopeless.

I now search on g0ggle: something like "grapevine marb67 courgettes"

This is the first page that appears

                              Agreed, it's not.

When you log on, click on your name (in green, at the top of the page, under the banner ad)

on the left hand side, you'll see your photo (if you've added one) and under that, click on Latest Posts

Still can't understand why "Kitchen Garden" is not showing on the main forum page.

Well, courgette in pot with compost and looked after is very yellow and sickly. Still no fruit on any plants. It's a mystery.
