How big are yours?

I just wondered how big your toms, aubergines & peppers are?

Our toms are probably 2 - 2.5" with a couple of leaves plus seed leaves.

The aubs & peppers are smaller, about 1.5 - 2" also with a couple of real leaves.

We've probably started them a bit soon (in the heated prop. 1st, now the dining table!) but the sight of seeds growing cheers me up and makes me think its spring!

I've not even started them yet as mine are outdoor variety, and they wouldn't survive if I planted them out in April.

My toms are much the same; probably sown too early but I agree it is ab fab to see something growing at last. In a fit of madness I planted out a few really early tom seedlings in my unheated greenhouse. All doing well so far.

My hot peppers are a pitiful 1 inch high, sad lack of light and heat I suspect. Not to mention the dogs drooling doggy gob on them.
Never mind - grow 'em hard. Anything that survives dog gob is bound to be hardy.

Have you planted them in pots or in the ground? Whereabouts are you? - ahh just seen Lahndon, you've probably never seen snow! ;-)

mine were sown on Sunday SBP, so none existant yet

Mine are still the size of seeds in foil packets, cause that's exactly what they are, and will be for about another three weeks minimum

My tomatoes are 4" high and growing their 2nd pair of true leaves; the leeks are 6" high and only 2 cucs germinated out of 6 (peat pots went mouldy on the outside and it spread across the surface) ?too wet maybe? The surviving 2 are 7" high and got their first pair of leaves. Like Rat I am holding off for a while longer although may plant the peppers this week.

Green with envy. Just seen the last of the snow!

Mine (toms) will have to remain in their packets until at least May.
