  • Interesting phenomi. fenoni, thing

I havesome Sharon tomatoes with 5 trusses so far, I noticed today on one of them that that the bottom truss, already laden with large tomatoes has produced a new shoot at the very tip about 4 inches long and that is now throwing out a new truss! Is this common because I have never seen it before.

Hi Bill, we had some discussions about our phenominominonal toms last year - they were forking and double trussing all over the place. Sounds like they're going to do the same this year too. When you have a few hours to spare, you can read all about it at http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...oes_65737.html and http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...ses_67428.html

Thats a bit dissapointing, I thought I had created a new strain Lol. I cut the extension off anyway because they are Sharon and supposed to be in the greenhouse I will limit the trusses to aid ripening.
