chili plant is dying

Hello.
My chili plant is almost dead, the leaves got brown and fell. I didn't took good care of it. I didn't water it well. Now I want to bring it back to life. Can I do something or is it too late.. please help

You can try watering it and see what happens, nothing to lose. But sounds like it has expired.
