Wonderful corn bretty. Whilst not the first, you are deifinifely the proudest. Ive had a fair few off mine a week ago but I'm impressed by your 75 plants. Where did you get seeds that cheap? My seeds were Honeydew which cropped first, but I am still waiting for Lark to mature. I so understand the exitement, I spend the whole season in anticipation of home grown sweetcorn and carrots. You just can't beat them.

i got them off ebay from the seller stamannuk, i just found it in my purchase history, i am very impressed with the seeds from premier seeds though, very good service and quality and price!, you can get them off ebay too and they combine postage too, i will only use them next season as they have been great, apart from my parsnip seeds i have saved 4000 of them,,, yeh i may be the proudest corn harvester but i have been waiting and worried about my corn , about the pollination etc, the wind battered them but they still grew bent, my next pride will come from my butternut, i have some whoppers on the way already!! fed up of waiting for the toms now, i know im just going to end up with gluts of about 5/6 different types of toms in a couple of weeks, some have started to ripen though, ? are carrots that good to be worth the effort? we pay 99centimes a kilo here in france, thats very cheap i think, but parsnips at 2.99 a kilo!!!!!!!!!!! they are worth the time and effort! oh here i go again, i just get a wobblegob on me and keep waffling on,i could talk the hind legs of a snake!!!!!!!!

Had my first sweetcorn 5 weeks ago ......erm, but I cheat a bit, because I always grow a few in the polytunnel so we get some before the outside crop is ready (which I started picking last weekend)
          Are y'oroight booy?
