  • What should I be feeding my pumpkin plant?

My pumpkin has been going pretty fast lately, i want to maximize its growth. I've been feeding tomato feed but want a organic fertilizer that has mainly potassium (helps fruit growth)?

    Heres a picture:

I've never fed squashes; only if they are in pots...

Ours is growing from a mound of mixed manure, but have also given it seaweed liquid, tomato feed and nettle tea. I was thinking of letting it have some bat guano and maybe a cooked breakfast on Sunday. ;p

It's not as big as yours though, think it needs building up some.
While wearing your night clothes, plant cucumbers on the 1st May before the sun comes up, and they will not be attacked by bugs.

plagron bat guano .... has an NPK: 3-15-4 but don't be fooled by the NPK ratios, as this stuff works wonders (I feed all my veg with this, including tomatoes) ..... costs approx £20 per 5 litre bucket and you only use a little at a time

Growing Media :: Organic / Soils :: Plagron - Bat Guano Soil Additive 5 Litres (3.28 Kg) - Hydroponics Grow Shop - One Stop Grow Shop

shop around for better prices, and google for a hydroponic store in your area .... will save you shipping costs

Tomato feed is high in potash (potassium).

I assume you mean you want something homemade? >>>>> comfrey
