Love growing courgettes I try all the different colours and shapes.
Prefer the yellow gold rush types.
Often the little devils hide under the leaves and when I find them they are half way to a marrow.
I had one this week end, a whopper.
So took out the middle, seeds etc. Diced into approx 1 inch cubes and popped in my mince curry once it was boiling.
It was superb, soaked up all the lovely curry juices. Next time I would peel it but the skin peeled off once boiled.
A good use for a marrow.
I have seen reference to
1) Stuffing them with mince.
2) Stuffing them with sugar and making some suspect beverage out of them.
Any one got any other good uses for a marrow. ( No dodgy jokes please ).
