I grow my beans in the same place every year, however I dig a trench and all the soil from the trench goes To the raised beds, I then fill the trench with manure, homemade compost ect. Most people would advise you to rotate them on a 4 year rotation, however as I have said I grow mine in the same place and I always get a good cropLast edited by Matt94; 21-08-2013, 07:55 PM.

This is my second year of growing my beans in the same place. I planted Cobra on one side of my path and Climbing Borlotti the other side. Both doing very well - meeting in the middle over my head. Just gave the rows a top dressing of "home made" and a sprinkle of chicken pooh when I planted. I have also been picking volunteer runner beans which self seeded from last year! When the Devil gives you Cowpats - make Satanic Compost!
