  • Help-Thinning stems

I fear yet another blow to my ever struggling season has come upon me- Damping off. What seems to happen is plants (spinnach, succulant, egg plant) for instance start off healthy and then over time no growth, they get smaller and the stem goes thin and the plant eventually becomes detached.

I know it is a fungal problem. I have used Aldi compost as well as B and Q's own. Also, some reused old mixed with soil (depending on what plants need).

Will washing all my pots and containers, greenhouse with lashings of J***s fluid help solve the problem for next season ?

Too wet usually. Probably better to stop watering so much than drench with 'lashings of' a versatile uotdoor cleaner.
