Hi Claire and welcome if I haven't already said that elsewhere!!
I'm a fan of Realseeds because of their ethics and they are local, Franchi because you gets lots of seeds for your money, Moreveg when I want to try just a few seeds of something for not much money and Pennard for the quirky ones
You are welcome to swap into the Virtual Seed Parcel http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...nce_68032.html but obviously, you need some seeds to start with All the instructions are in the link.
I personally love Premier Seeds Direct on Ebay. Not only are they incredibly cheap - usually 99p a packet - but the seeds are good quality.
You get them in little bags with no instructions etc but if you know what you want & what to do with them, that doesn't matter.
I get the odd usual seeds I haven't tried before & if they don't work out, I haven't lost much money.
Good luck

They're not the cheapest or the dearest, but I've found very high germination rates with their seeds (plus there's a choice of organic/non organic seed). Also they've a great range of green manure seeds, as well as seed potatoes etc.
Only downside is the postage fees, which are pretty high until you reach £50 and then it's free. So I fall into the trap of buying a whole load of other gardening bits and pieces just to reach the free postage....
I get a lot of seeds through Kings as we get the catalogue through the allotment association. Very good prices. They have a website too. And then there's the 50p sale as described on another thread.
-Real seeds
-Seed parade
-Premier seeds
-Moreveg
-Baker creek heirloom seeds (US site offering lots of weird and wonderful stuff, but bear in mind the postage, only $3.50 but still an extra cost)
......and of the 'big' companies I've found DT Browns to offer a good service. Though the rest I've never had problems with.

Presently the main one I use is Moreveg.
They do smaller numbers for a lower cost, many are 50p and 60p per pack.
They do a good selection and if it is for a garden the number of seeds per pack is lower. Getting 250 seeds may seem fine but if you use say 30-40 only then a lot of waste.
Just planted out 2 rows of overwintering onions from them and I basically have more then half left. At 50p a pack I don't mind, if I had paid £2.50 for 200 I would have considered it all a waste.
Depends what you plant and how you garden, on an allotment perhaps not the best but buy 3 or 4 varieties of whatever instead.
