Can anyone help? I planted some Fultons Strawberry Surprise rhubarb in large pots a couple of months ago to give to a friend and it's growing nicely. Should I pick the new stems or just let them yellow and die down this year? They are quite big. And can he keep it in the pots or will it need more space in a bed? My own rhubarb grows in beds so I'm not sure how to treat these ones. Thanks.

Rhubarb will do well in pots.
They'll probably do better in the ground but I've had them in pots and they've done well.
Perhaps keep the roots frost free as they are still babbiesLast edited by Nicos; 03-09-2013, 05:03 PM."Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple
