just put out a few shallot seedlings in my allot.not ever having tried them from seed before,who has and are they as good as sets,no patience to wait till september,to see the end result. thanks jf.

they are JF but you can't replant the sets from seed grown ones like normal I don't think. Thats the beauty of sets, you save a few for next year so they don't cost you anything.
What variety are they?
I grow Hative di Nort as they are superb pickled. They are good for showing as well but I don't do that.ntg
