Something that could get big there and be moved out back to crop/ripen? Have look at a way of chaining the pots to the wall - run a chain inside the pot through the drainage holes and then padlocked to a loop in the wall?

PS. I just don't have enough time to say hello to everyone as they join so please take this as a delighted to see you here!

Could you build a raised bed and fill that with herbs?

Need to be careful not to block the vents there or have a build up of earth against the wall as it could cause damp. Im making similar pebble/gravel moats around my buildings to prevent this although mine are old stone buildings so more susceptible to damp.

What about another pigs trough or stone/concrete trough that can fit in but leave an air gap for the vents? No bugger can run off with a stone trough as I full well know, Ive got two in the barn Id like to move outside for growing but cant shift. Is it people stealing the produce as well not just the pots?
