Chillis still ripening!

    I had lots of chillies still green on the plants in the greenhouse; brought the chillies inside and spread them out along back of worktop in kitchen. Ripened up in a few days. I tried the same process with some sweet peppers - T&M Tasty Grill Red - after a week or so they'd gone soft, then started eventually started to rot. No change of colour though. Odd..
