      Yups as No.10 says, we've had the white stuff today. A wee bit more over in Bucksburn where we are a bit higher up. Thermals have been brought into use :

            I agree, it's very irritating to read the hyped up articles that appear at this time of year. The so called 'journalists' who write for yahoo make me chuckle especially; a few frosty nights this week, with a couple of inches of snow in Scotland, and already last winters' buzz word 'The Big Freeze' is being used with gusto. Nope, its pretty typical weather for the time of year. I guess widespread ridicule is worth it to sell some advertising.

            Weather forecasts beyond five days in advance I've learned to take no notice of. The ones I've found to be most reliable are theweatheroutlook.com, and Sky. BBC weather struggles to get it right just 24 hrs ahead.
