I put slabs all over my 14x8 gh last year and now I'm taking them up (except for a single path). As well as the watering aspect it expensive and a pain to buy 10 or 20 growbags and transport them to my gh and id say they're variable quality at best (even year to year from the same supplier).

You could grow everything on your list but you'll need plenty of time and organisation. I'd concentrate on what you really want to grow, then se how it goes with the rest. If you have a search around on here you'll soon find out what seeds can go straight in and what is best started off in trays, etc.

Don't waste your time and money on the James Wong seeds. There are several threads on here about them. If you want to grow something to eat, concentrate on the things you know you like - not novelties

I've been doing the same, very therapeutic. Did you get one of the wooden paper pot maker things from h0me bargains too?

I've got a wooden one but its a bit large so I made a smaller one using this link :-

$3 Newpaper Pot Maker | Simply Flagstaff

I made mine with some pipe we had laying around, for the 'Dome Slip Cap' I pushed a piece of wood inside the smaller of the two pieces of pipe just to seal the end. Seems to work as well

Yes but I'm not sure if I'm doing them right are they meant to have a hole in the bottom?

Mine don't have holes at the bottom. Mine says to tuck the ends under then twist on the bottom plate thing

Have finally got round to reading GYO Magazine and wondered what people thought about this great idea of using a shoe hanger as a planter? I've just brought one and wonder do you think I could grow strawberries in there?

I saw that and thought is would need a lot of careful watering unless you could rig up a drip irrigation system.
