Nope but I've liked it for you..............Happy now
I'm really happy for you Mark. We read and worry so much about blight that its easy to overlook the simple things - that a plant has matured and is dying back.
Have a little rummage around at the base of the plants and see if you can find any spuds - that will really make your day!!

            • Not sure, but you could put it in a container filled with water and see if roots appear! My mum does this with lots of cuttings and has good success.

I was weeding and must have binned the stalk when I picking up the weeds.

                    • Hi guys as suggested I pulled my spuds up but they weren't great and a few had gone into slime - is this blight? My mains next to them look ok but the off leaf has started with the same yellow leaves.

                      • Are you sure the slimy ones were not the original seed potatoes? Looks like a nice crop to me.

                        • As Bill said, the slimy ones will be the original seed potatoes. I assume you found one for each plant - not lots.

Actually I only found three or four- if that's what happens then I can live with that. Just they didn't seem to swell much the odd few did but quite allot are tiny and some handbrake developed.
