I had a much needed clear up of the greenhouse today. It was cold out so after I'd sorted my chooks I lit the woodburner in the greenhouse and started to give it its pre new year clean out.
I still have tomato plants with beafsteak toms ripening on them. Rather than cut the plants down I've given them a short back and sides and taken off a bucket full of part ripe tomatoes which I'll ripen on the windowsill.
The others, I've left on the plant and hopefully will be able to pick fresh tomatoes on Christmas morning.
I've got a few days off around Christmas and loads to do in my three greenhouses and on the beds.
Just hope that I get a monster box of 400mg Ibruproven in my Christmas stocking to allow me to work through this bad back I seem to have aquired lately!
