        They look great Paul!

At this stage, I don't think they will be falling in a heap...

          Baby's

Hi guys, after seeing Paul's plants I'm shamed to puts these dudes up. I sowed mine early Jan and as a result I got extremly leggy seedlings. I've put the best ones in bigger pots and buried them deep, do you think these guys will survive?

Hahaha!! Yes, they can look a bit suspect from a distance! I had a row of pots along the bedroom windowsill one year; a long standing friend of the family and ex-copper was visiting one day, saw them from the patio, and insisted on taking a closer look!

                        • Hi All,

Need some guidance, my chillies (jalapeño and ring of fire) are now about 14 inches tall in 5inch pots (sowed 1st Jan), they are destined to be planted into a quad grow type of thing from greenhouse sensations in the greenhouse. Some are trying to fruit I have just noticed, it is still perhaps too cold to put them outside, shall I remove the fruits and save the energy for growth ? …….. HELP !!!!

                          • Don't know about this year's plants - my guess would be that they are perhaps a bit too tender to go out yet. My overwintered Aji Lemon has been out on a north-facing balcony for the last 2 weeks and is loving it there, flowering madly and with a few tiny chillies forming.

I am bringing it in tonight though - the forecast 5C is a bit chilly.

                            • Hi Paul. Yes, its a bit too early still for a young plant. I'd remove any flowers, and probably nip the tops off the leading stems to encourage the plant to thicken up.

                              • Still no sign of my Carolina Reaper seedlings. One new variety I'm trying this year is Purple Flash, primarily an ornamental. Its supposed to have almost black foliage, with red/purple veins and streaks through the leaves, and small, black, very hot chillies. 100% germination on those. Also doing chocolate habanero, chocolate brown chillies. Those, plus a mixture of orange, green, yellow, and red; should be very colourful in the GH this year
