Bad Weather

Well, a trip to the plot yesterday. Not good at all. My half plot is under about 2ft of water with my raised beds having moved/floated off. Lost all my winter veg. The poly tunnel has completely disappeared. Ah well. It's all a learning experience. This year I'll put another level on to the raised beds and put metal anchors on them. All winter and permanent plants will go up on my other non-flooding plot and I'll just use this one for summer crops. And no poly tunnel on this plot again. Thank goodness the she'd was built up on a 3ft high platform. Silver linings.

Thanks Mark! Onwards and upwards! I'm praying for no more rain and hopefully the waters will recede soon. 😊 I need to get some more broad beans and peas sown now!

Hi all, all these high winds have blown over the shed on the new plot, I dismantled it all today, the timber had seen better days n was fairly rotten in places so was a bit of a blessing really! Lol onwards and upwards!
