Pieces of guttering hidden behind the wood, with holes drilled in the bottom for drainage.
The rainwater comes off the shed roof and waters the top level, then percolates down through each level
Seems to be working to plan so far

May in the garden

Its been a very warm June here so far, with temperatures over 30c during the first couple of weeks, though its cooled down to around 26c now. So everything has shot up!

And we have our first apples. We planted 4 different varieties 2 years ago and two blossomed and set fruit this year.

Miles behind this year! Work commitments an all that!
