        • July

Here are my two usual views from the shed. I've just lifted the onions since they developed mould. Everything else is coming along nicely. I'm very pleased with my sweetcorn even if it's not quite as high as an elephant's eye.

There's not much change to see in the garden this month so I decided that, instead of a garden picture, I'd post a photo OF the shed.

          • It has been a glorious day today, 24° when we went to Banchory for a bottle of gin Anyway, here is the garden at 6.15 this evening. Can you spot the borage in amongst the mangetout?

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.
