Just a couple of notes on the sweetcorn Sally, they don't like having their roots disturbed. You'll just need to be a little bit more careful doing it this way, and I'd recommend planting a couple of extra seeds direct in the pot with the others when you plant them out just in case. Once you're happy your plants are OK, you can thin out the surplus ones with scissors/secateurs by cut cropping off the unwanted ones at ground level to avoid disturbing their neighbours. I started some off mine off by planting in modules and got away with it, although I didn't start anywhere near this early. I probably started mine off April-ish I think.
