This afternoon I've sown Purple podded and telephone pre-chitted peas in some guttering and left them in the GH.

This week I sowed sunflowers (again - the first lot were eaten by slugs), red clover, red alert toms, outdoor cucumber, and kohl rabi (or it might be kale the label says kohl rabi, but my diary says kale - I'll have to check that out).Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
Endless wonder.

Potted on the Minnesota midget melon seedlings (x3) and pyramid rainbow chilli seedlings (x6). Also potted on the "novelty" (scam?) coloured strawberry seedlings (blue, yellow, black and giant red) and left those outside to face the elements (creating windowsill space for the other seedlings) ... intrigued to see what they actually become. Also sowed Dolichos Lab Lab (x12) ... otherwise known as Hyacinth Beans
I'd like to get more seedlings underway, but I need to get the alpine strawberries in their final positions first to get my windowsill space (and windowsill propagator) back. Hopefully next weekend, weather permitting

Just a quick update to a couple of my earlier posts...last week I sowed a pack of brussells sprout seeds which had been stuck behind a radiator for at least 5 years. Seems the seeds must be indestructible, as they've now germinated.
Also about three weeks ago I sowed 30 parsnip seeds which had been stored in the fridge for the past year - bit surprised to find that 28 of the 30 have now germinated.
Which is all good, but I wasn't really expecting either experiment to work out, so I'd already sown fresh seeds - going to have parsnip and sprout overload this year from the looks of it.
