        • About 3-4 weeks ago i sowed

          Scotch Bonnet
          AliBaba alpine strawberry
          Dwarf cape gooseberry
          Cape gooseberry
          Basil Lime
          Basil Chen
          Micro Tom tomatoes

Popped them in an unheated propagator, which sits on top of my PC tower (always on) looking out of a south facing window.. All sprouted, all going well. Pretty much everything is on their third set of true leaves. I got a small CFL grow lamp i put them under just for a couple of hours a day when it has been dull, to stop them stretching.

I also a couple of days ago sowed some random russian seeds,
          A yellow kind of strawberry
          A less hot pepper
A proper cherry tomato plant (micro tom is really kind of pathetic)

None of them have sprouted yet.

EDIT: Oops, sorry i forgot this was veg forum!

          • Third time lucky - I've just sown sunflowers again as the second lot have also been eaten by slugs. They won't find them this time - they're on the bedroom windowsill!
            Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
            Endless wonder.

            • Like mothhawk, I've learned my lesson after two tries. In my case, the second tray of pea seeds that have been neatly dug out and eaten by mice.

The tray has moved back inside with me, and I'll watch them here until they're all sprouted.

Apart from resowing all my peas, I've also sown 3 kinds of tomatoes (tigrella, marmande and pink brandywine thanks to the VSP!), cucamelon and two types of sunflower.

Boyfriend repotted a whole bunch of previous tomato seedlings (red pear and san marzano) as well as a few peppers and some brassicas.
              A busy evening!

                    • I sowed some PSB two days ago - cardinal and red arrow. Got my rudolph PSB seeds through today (I've never grown it before, hence the waiting for seeds!) and was surprised to see that it says not to sow for another month at least. But who am I to argue with the packet.
