Ok, a quick update:
The seedlings, are now looking more like proper plants.
They are still in 6 inch pots. They are around 14" tall (I keep trimming the leaves).
And they are easily 10-12mm in girth at the base.
The only problem, is that the roots are now sticking out of the bottom of the pots!!!!
I was hoping to plant them out around Easter time.
What do you think? Should I pot them on AGAIN?

Ok, here is a picture of one of the kelsaes.
They are all around this size now. Approx 8 - 10 leaves, and just over pencil thick.
Knocked out of pot, the roots are at the bottom, but in my opinion not pot bound.
Will these be 'ok' in the existing 6 inch pots for another 4 weeks or so do you think????
THank youLast edited by chilli_grower; 22-03-2014, 03:45 PM.

thanks AP...
THats good to hear
Ok, well if I have to pot them on, it just means that they will be in the cool conservatory for a few weeks, instead of on a warm windowsill in the house.
I really hope it is warm enough around easter to plant these out....Last edited by chilli_grower; 22-03-2014, 08:00 PM.

I potted the kelsaes on today, they were easily outgrowing the 6 inch pots.
They are now in 7 or 8 inch pots.
Picture here, also showing the 'neck' of the best looking onion.
I have had no choice other than to now permanently relocate the onions to the greenhouse. I just do not have the room in the house.
I am not 'too' bothered, especially as the next week or so is very mild during the nights. If it really gets cold, then I will light the paraffin heater.
At least in the gh, they will get full light for the entire day from all sides.
Picture also here of the red baron, marco and leek seedlings that I have had in the gh for several weeks....
