I am sure like most people on here, I had a very busy weekend but luckily managed to get most of the jobs done, thanks to my wife being very patient.. The plot is starting to take shape now and its a great place to relax at the end of the garden

Tomatoes are doing really well and within the next couple of weeks I think we will be having our first crop. I cleared up the second main bed in the greenhouse and planted the cucumbers, gherkins, corno di torro rosso & giallo peppers and some sigarette di bergamo peppers. Chillles all potted on into final pots and the heat over the last few days has sent everthing berserk

Outside I decided to get the soleil & defender courgettes planted up and planted the tromba di albenga at the bottom of the arch so they can hopefully climb up.. The chard, spinach, cima di rapa which we ate yesterday with some orecchiette, lurvely, and salads are doing good also. Purple sprouting and calabrese broccoli & cavolo nero are also growing rapid and really looking forward to these.. We should be close to being self sufficient for veg in the next few weeks!!

Cobra, & Neckergold french beans are still in the greenhouse and should be out by the end of May.. I overwartered the first seeds and most of them rotted away. You can't yet see them but there are some sugar snaps planted to grow up the netting in the first raised bed also

I ordered on the 23rd crown prince & potimarron winter squash seeds but they got lost and should be getting them this week after chasing thomson and morgan up.. So they will be going in one of the flower beds that I cleared up along with some extra courgette plants which we plan on using for just the flowers

Anyway, here are some pics of how it all looks now

Thanks for looking and on the next update Il hopefully have some decent produce to show off!!

That is a brilliant plot, you have obviously worked very hard when you consider the original pics you posted. I envy those solid looking raised beds.

Oh my! I envy everything, never mind the raised beds!

Looks fantastic, and very productive more to the point. I love how it's all so organised.

I'm off to pray to the Lottery God now.

Those pics deserve a place on the 2014 Calendar chopper.

Chopper, I have just noticed this thread as I had been searching for advice re greenhouses.

This is a fantastic effort and the plot looked very productive.

                                Well done
