      I thought you'd bought a new computer?

I like things that look odd, purple carrots, cauliflower and peas; white beetroot and strawberries; blue potatoes and squash; zebra striped beans, black tomatoes and peppers, red sprouts, orange raspberries.

Its probably why I have chickens that lay white, green and dark brown eggs. If you have the space to play with food its great to play with the mind.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

That's odd, LD - they are still listing them for sale under the 'specials' section of potatoes.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I am scratching my head over LD's problem with seeds by post - it has just let me put some salad blue in my basket - and I ordered some earlier this evening!

I've got few blue kestrels to try this year. I'm going to grow them in 30ltr pots. They have purple eyes too.

We've got Highland Burgundy, I'm pretty sure they stay red, although not as vividly as those blue one's stay blue. Grew the blue ones last 2 years and they're great but an absolute bu**er to find amongst the clods of earth when they're being dug up
