So today I left the allotments at Lunch time with 2 rather small suedes that I'd grown (to be fair I did grow some bigger ones early in the year)... plus 4 large leeks and 4 massive parsnips.

But the leeks and parsnips came from a neighbour!

Then I went over this evening and bumped into someone who I thought may have lost a compost bin and it blown onto my plot. It was his and in return for his retrieved bin I got handed 3 eggs.

So I'm thinking I should just stop trying and let my plot neighbours give me stuff ;-)

Now now you lot,taking the shoe uppers,we not all good spellers,,am sure we knew it was meant to be a swede you eat,not shoe leather,although some could well be ,if fact i feel rather envious as my swede were rubbish,
